JLL appointments Kian-Jin Khoo as Head of Private Wealth, Capital Markets, Asia Pacific.
JLL today announced the appointment of Kian-Jin Khoo as Head of Private Wealth, Capital Markets, Asia Pacific. In the newlycreated role, he will lead JLL’s capital markets advisory efforts for high net worth and Family Office clients as they diversify portfolios and demand value-added services and solutions for cross-border commercial real estate investments.
Kian-Jin joins JLL from a single-family office in Singapore, where he spent the past four-and-a-half years as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. He also brings over 12 years of private banking experience from UBS Wealth Management.
Kian-Jin has a well-established network of private clients and will bolster JLL’s existing relationships across the region, as well as identifying emerging high net worth investors in Asia Pacific. These include investors with existing real estate investments and those who have an interest in diversifying their portfolios to include greater exposure to real estate – a trend that is playing out globally.
He will use his understanding of their portfolios, locally and globally to act as JLL’s key point of contact to proactively distribute new products to select high net worth investors. Based in Singapore, Kian-Jin will report to Tim Graham, Head of Capital Strategies, Asia Pacific, JLL and will partner closely with JLL’s regional capital markets team and the global International Capital Coverage team. \
“Private wealth will undoubtedly play a more visible role in global real estate. High net worth capital originating from Asia Pacific is forming an increasingly greater component of active global capital. Kian-Jin brings a deep level of client expertise and understanding that will facilitate enhanced connectivity between private wealth in Asia Pacific and global commercial real estate markets” says Graham.
