Carlby Xie - Colliers China

Mr Xie has more than 12 years of rounded experience in the real estate market in both China and the United Kingdom. He joined Colliers International in 2007 as Head of Research and Advisory – North China in Beijing. Based in Shanghai, he currently holds the position of Head of Research, China, leading a team of more than 15 research professionals in producing thought-leading analysis on the market, and provides prominent international and domestic funds, investors and developers with professional researching and consulting services across China.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr Xie was employed at Jones Lang LaSalle. Before that, he worked for The Peer Group PLC in London, UK, and a domestic real estate valuation company based in Shenzhen, China. He has undertaken many projects for international and domestic institutional investors and developers, including Mapletree, GLP, Deutsche Bank, Ascendas, Brookfield, Nomura Securities, Macquarie MEAG Prime Retail Real Estate Investment Trust, Credit Suisse, The Carlyle Group, Swire, Henderson Land, Hong Kong MTR, Capland Group, Financial Street Holdings, etc.

Mr Xie holds a Master’s Degree in International Real Estate from the Oxford Brookes University of the United Kingdom and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
