Located on the edge of the Loch Palm reservoir and golf course, this property is an award-winning architectural jewel. The concept behind its design was inspired by the surrounding site, which is positioned between the calm, placid reservoir and the flat green grass of the golfing fairways.

Technically, the design is called a ‘topographical dialogue', resulting in an origami-like form of a folding plane which, instead of yielding an obtrusive object that appears forced into its surroundings, seamlessly fuses with the landscape.

Construction of the property required over 150 tonnes of steel, which was fabricated into four trusses touching the ground at four points. The resulting terraces from two of these points juts directly over the water's edge. As a result of the architecture there are no windows, only spaces between the folds of the building. These spaces are made from clear tempered glass with powder-coat finish aluminium frames, magnifying the views from the lake to the red mountains in the distance. Large pivoting doors lead out to manicured gardens with the surrounding exterior clad in kiln-fired cement shakes. Adorning the saltwater infinity pool are hand-cast Thai tiles trimmed in polished black stone adding the final touches to this spectacular property.
