Hyatt announced it has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of IFF Holdings Joint Stock Company (“IFF Holdings”) to develop a 280-room Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort and Spa as well as 63 pool villa residences.
Slated to open in 2024, this will be the first Hyatt Regency project in the south of Vietnam. Situated in a prime location along a 330-meter-long beachfront, the resort and branded residences will offer guests a relaxing and energizing retreat.
Known for its pristine sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters and fresh coastal vibe, the charming beach town of Ho Tram is a popular weekend getaway for local Vietnamese all year round. It is also emerging as a MICE destination and a growing hotspot for international tourists.
“We are grateful to collaborate for the first time with IFF Holdings and look forward to offering guests memorable experiences in an idyllic destination such as Ho Tram,” said David Udell, group president, Asia-Pacific, Hyatt. “Hyatt Regency Ho Tram is a strategic addition to our footprint in Vietnam and will complement Hyatt’s growing resort offering which includes future openings in prime leisure destinations such as Halong Bay and Phu Quoc.”
Guests at Hyatt Regency Ho Tram will find themselves immersed in a landscape of existing tropical greenery that will be carefully preserved. All guestrooms and suites will feature stylish contemporary interiors inspired by the surrounding pristine nature and enjoy uninterrupted sea views. Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Residences will include pool villas with two- to five-bedrooms, offering owners and guests privacy and exclusivity for complete relaxation.
Other resort facilities will include multiple restaurants and bars, separate adults’ and kids’ pools, a kids’ club and playground, an elevated forest walk, extensive meeting and event facilities, and a unique detox spa offering that will be new to Ho Tram.
“Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort and Spa will raise the hospitality benchmark in Ho Tram with its premium standard in terms of design, hospitality and service,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, Chairwoman, IFF Holdings. “We are delighted to collaborate with Hyatt on this defining project to deliver an exceptional experience for local guests and international travelers visiting Ho Tram.”
Hyatt Regency Ho Tram resort and residences will be conveniently located on the main coastal road of Ho Tram, only a 90-minute drive from Ho Chi Minh City. Come 2025, the opening of the Long Thanh International Airport is expected to further boost Ho Tram’s accessibility and attractiveness as an international tourist destination.
Beyond the resort, guests will also be able to enjoy nearby attractions, including Binh Chau Hot Springs and The Bluffs, a Greg Norman-designed golf course.
