Achieve the dream by buying a beachfront condominium at TwinPalms Residences in MontAzure resort, Phuket.
If you've ever dreamed of owning your own holiday home in an exotic location, then buying a beachfront condominium at TwinPalms Residences in the new MontAzure development in Phuket is one of the simplest and most secure ways to achieve the dream.
The TwinPalms Residences are located on 300 metres of pristine Kamala beachfront in central Phuket, and contains 75 apartments.
The ability to own freehold title to condominiums right on the beach in Phuket is rare, says Henri Young, Director of Marketing, Kamala Beach Resort & Hotel Management.
The luxurious one and two-bedroom condominiums will be beautifully designed by Martin Palleros, of TwinPalms fame, and will feature open-plan layouts and large balconies. There is the option to combine apartments into three or four-bedrooms. A number of penthouses are also on offer, and come complete with pools, barbecues, and rooftop entertaining areas.
TwinPalms will have two pools, one on the beach and one surrounded by a central garden.
Kamala Beach, said Young, is "a tale of two beaches".
"In the high season it's very flat, but conversely, in the monsoon, you get surf and waves; so you can pick and choose," he said.
Kamala Beach is in the middle of Phuket island, making it ideally located to explore all the island has to offer, including marine facilities, historic Phuket town, golf courses, shopping, and world-class bars and restaurants.
The developers, Arch Capital Management, Narai Group, and Philean Capital, specialise in high-end projects, and MontAzure will be no exception. The mixed-use, seven-hectare resort will contain an Intercontinental hotel, an Ibiza-style beach-club, and will benefit from the experience gained from the successful TwinPalm developments all over Thailand.
Purchasing a condominium in Thailand is "probably the safest way to buy (property) in Asia," said Young. Owning freehold title is undoubtedly the most secure form of ownership, he said.
MontAzure's TwinPalms Residences are likely to appeal to retirees or Australian expats who are working and living in the region, said Young, who want to benefit from the lower cost of living in Thailand, and who are interesting in making the most of all that Phuket has to offer.
Phuket is fast becoming Asia's number one tourist destination. The island is well established in terms of medical facilities, schools, golf courses, and marine activities, such as boating. Year on year, tourist numbers are rising.
Direct flights from Australia are also a drawcard, as are good linkages with Singapore and Bangkok.
The condominiums can be paid for over the construction period. Part payment is required up front, but the balance is only required upon exchange of contract.
Condominium yields are based on occupancy and room rates. Owners are able to use their condominium for up to 45 days per year.
The developers manage the condominiums, and "do all the work for you", including the maintenance, said Young.
"You just come and enjoy it," he said.
How to buy condominiums in Thailand
Thailand allows foreigners to buy freehold condominium property in Thailand. The overall building, however, must remain majority owned by Thai citizens.
Freehold ownership is desirable because it provides owners with the greatest security.
Owners of a freehold condominium in Thailand can own the property in their own name, with no claim from any government entity.
TwinPalms Residences can be bought directly from the developer, who can also help with resales.
