JLL (NYSE: JLL) today announced a strengthening of its market-leading commercial real estate business and office leasing advisory platform in Indonesia, making two strategic appointments in one of the world’s highest potential emerging markets.
Effective immediately, Vivin Harsanto will assume the role of Head of Growth, Executive Director, Indonesia. In this newly-created role, she will remain responsible for Strategic Consulting and will report to Farazia Basarah, Country Head, JLL Indonesia. She will also leverage her broad experience and assume oversight for JLL’s market-leading office leasing platform in Indonesia, facilitating the delivery of transactional and office leasing advisory services to JLL's diversified client base in Indonesia. As part of her expanded role, Vivin will play a broader role on JLL Indonesia’s country leadership team, partnering with executives across all business lines and centres of excellence in this market.
In her almost 30 years in commercial real estate, she has worked in a variety of roles for the firm in Indonesia, most recently as Head of Advisory, Indonesia. Her experience includes providing advice in terms of development strategies, asset optimization and investment advisory to various parties, both private and government, local as well as international corporations.
Concurrently, Panji Aziz will partner closely with Vivin to deliver JLL’s enhanced Office Leasing Advisory platform in Indonesia as Head of Tenant Representation. He will ensure that JLL’s offering to clients will be solidified by his extensive experience and knowledge of the national office leasing industry, proven track record of providing expert advice and reputation for consistently delivering solutions to support our clients’ business strategies. He has 15 years of experience and has held numerous roles across the tenant representation space.
“Office leasing advisory is one of the cornerstone businesses for our legacy and continued success in Indonesia, which will enter a new chapter whereby evolving client requirements demand fresh and innovative perspectives. We believe strengthening our office leasing platform and wider leadership structure in Indonesia will align with brighter thinking around the needs of our clients and reinforce global upgrades of the advisory services JLL delivers,” says Farazia Basarah.
“Indonesia continues to grow in prominence as an economy and a high growth market for JLL. We believe by investing in talent and through championing fresh perspectives on office leasing, we will be strongly positioned to reinforce our status as the leading advisor in the country. Vivin and Panji are two of the market’s most respected leasing advisors and by combining their extensive experience across both the landlord and tenant representation segments, JLL will differentiate itself further to meet the needs of clients demanding integrated advisory,” says Michael Glancy, Managing Director - Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
