RE/MAX Australia is the #1 Asia Pacific Region of the Year for the global network.

“This is no small accomplishment and one that we should all be collectively proud of,” said Managing Director, Joel Davoren, in addressing the Australian network.

“We are still evolving and growing, and we have only just scratched the surface of what our team can truly achieve. This is a great acknowledgement of all the many individual and team efforts.

“Our plans to double the size of this business are ambitious but 100% achievable. This is a great start to what will be a huge year for us all!”

In addition to recognition as the top Asia Pacific region, RE/MAX Australia was announced the #1 Region across all Tier 2 countries, which can mean up to 1000 agents, based on the average number of transactions per agent.

And when it came down to overall ‘Region of the Year’, RE/MAX Australia was a finalist alongside the powerhouse regions of Argentina, South Africa and Portugal.

“Being on a finalists list with these three is an incredible achievement for us all,” Mr Davoren said.

The outcome was a tie between Argentina and South Africa.

He said that huge congratulations must go to the Special Award winners, where there were several impressive rankings by the Australian network.

The RE/MAX Global Awards were celebrated at the 2022 R4 Convention in Las Vegas, held 28 February to March 2. RE/MAX Australia Operations Director, Josh Davoren, and Board Chairman, Michael Davoren attended.

President and CEO Nick Bailey announced at the convention’s opening session that agent productivity had hit a new high for the global network and real estate industry.

“We’re a company of firsts,” Mr Bailey told a live audience of more than 7,000, “and now we’re the first (network) in the history of real estate to close two million sides in a year.”

Global achievements reinforced that RE/MAX is a forward-looking, tech-savvy network built on a time-tested foundation of productivity and service.
