Leading diversified professional services and investment management firm Colliers (NASDAQ and TSX: CIGI) today announced that Hideki Maruyama has been appointed as Executive Director & Head of Occupier Services | Japan, effective immediately, reporting directly to Yukihiro Ogasawara, Managing Director & Chairman | Japan.
Leading diversified professional services and investment management firm Colliers (NASDAQ and TSX: CIGI) today announced that Hideki Maruyama has been appointed as Executive Director & Head of Occupier Services | Japan, effective immediately.
Based in Tokyo, Maruyama is tasked with leading the Occupier Services business in Japan, driving revenue through business development and leveraging an integrated approach to client engagement. Reporting into Yukihiro Ogasawara, Managing Director & Chairman | Japan, one of Maruyama’s key priorities will be the creation of a client engagement strategy to build strong relationships and financial opportunities in the Japanese market, while growing existing partnerships and attracting market-leading talent to Colliers.
Maruyama joins Colliers from CBRE, where he has accumulated 26 years of real estate experience. In his most recent role as Senior Director, Advisory & Transaction for Office in Japan, Maruyama was responsible for delivering on the tenant representation business’s sales targets and promoting their capabilities to top tier Japanese companies. During his tenure at CBRE, Maruyama has also held positions in office leasing, corporate solutions and management, and has successfully won new clients and established a strong network of relationships in Japan. Some of his achievements include managing head office relocations and large-scale asset sales for major Japanese companies.
