New position of Director, Research & Consulting, Southeast Asia created to provide clients with in-depth regional market analysis
Since its inception in 2017, luxury real estate brokerage List Sotheby’s International Realty (List SIR), Singapore, has established itself as a leader in the marketing of properties through harnessing the power of technology and innovation to maximise the promotion of listings and enhance the experience of buying and investing in properties.
At the recent Asia Pacific Property Awards held in Bangkok, List SIR won four major awards, including top awards for the agency’s website and in the Real Estate Agency Marketing categories.
The agency has grown in strength too and now has a team of close to 70 Relationship Managers with expertise in luxury residential properties. It has been involved in numerous significant multi-million-dollar deals, including a $30.88 million Good Class Bungalow (GCB) in Jervois Hill and the $32 million “Copper House” bungalow in Sentosa Cove this year, as well as a $33.3 million bungalow in Sentosa Cove in 2018, the highest deal for the residential enclave since 2012. List SIR has also had some success in marketing international projects in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and in Dubai, U.A.E.
Over the last two years, List SIR has also made a name for itself in the industry with its sharp, timely research analysis of the local residential market which provides the agency’s Relationship Managers with critical market knowledge to give the best advice to their clients. These research studies and reports are often also picked up by investment companies and the media.
To further strengthen its regional research and consulting capabilities, List SIR has appointed Ms. Alice Tan as Director, Research & Consulting, Southeast Asia. The appointment of the newly created position will take effect from 1 July 2019.
Ms. Tan will be responsible for real estate market research and consulting work within Southeast Asia.
Ms. Han Huan Mei will continue in her role as List SIR’s Director of Research, focusing on the local residential and commercial market.

In her previous career in Knight Frank, Ms. Tan was Director and Head of Consultancy and Research for six years. She led the department in excess of 30 consultancy projects totalling over 10 million sq. ft of development Gross Floor Area, covering areas such as feasibility studies, market analyses, development strategy and property performance analyses on residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects.
She serviced public and private sector clients, offered market insights and published numerous research reports on Singapore and regional property markets. Her real estate domain knowledge includes Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Lao PDR and several other Asian countries and cities.
Subsequently, she was appointed as Director of Residential Project Marketing, charged with devising business development initiatives to build client relationships and project pipelines. She was also part of the marketing and sales team, planning and executing marketing strategies for residential projects.
