CBRE Korea has announced Sean Choi as Executive Director, Head of Capital Markets, Korea.
CBRE announced the appointment of Sean Choi as Executive Director, Head of Capital Markets, Korea.
Effective immediately, he will assume full responsibility for CBRE Korea’s Capital Markets business including property sales and acquisitions, relationship management for domestic and foreign investors, and valuations. Choi will report directly to Don Lim, Managing Director, Head of CBRE Korea and regionally to Tom Moffat, Executive Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, Asia, CBRE.
Choi was previously Head of the Domestic Investment Division at Vestas Investment Management. He brings over 15 years of industry experience with a background in development, construction, real estate consulting, finance, and investment to CBRE Korea.
Choi holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Engineering from Yonsei University. He started his career in the building industry and progressively moved into asset management roles, working his way up into the real estate investment space including time with CBRE’s Property Management team. He has also held senior positions with Nomura-Rifa Asset Management and Alpha Asset Management, and is an experienced operator across all asset classes.
