Lataro Island is an 800-acre private island located off the coast of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu's northern islands has old growth rainforests and a wonderful array of flora and fauna which has been left undisturbed for years.

The 6 km pristine coral reef surrounding the island is a marine conservation area and teems with beautiful fish and coral life. "Only a handful of people have ever dived this spectacular reef and most parts of it have never been explored underwater." says brokering agent Chester Rendell of Sothebys International Realty.

The sea surrounding the island is the ultimate playground for game fishing, diving and yachting, and there are several safe moorings for boats up to around 60 feet off the front of the property.

"A great super yacht anchorage is in the bay opposite and is visible from the property but don't expect to see many boats as they are few and far between."

The island is available on a walk-in, walk-out basis including boats, toys and all furniture and equipment. A piece of land on the mainland is also available as an access point although many visitors prefer to fly directly to the island and utilise its own grass airstrip.
