The Heritage Project emulates a diamond necklace design in the Yong-he District.
The “Heritage” project is a luxury residential high-rise and is located in Yong-he District in New Taipei City. This inner-city district is in the southern part of New Taipei Taiwan and is primarily a residential area that serves as a bedroom community for surrounding industry.
As the gender gap narrows in Taiwan, increasingly more women in Taipei have the power to make the purchasing decisions in real estate. This trend is what drove TL Architects & DL Design to define the building as, “A beautiful treasure in women’s jewel case”.
The design choices for this project differ from the surrounding city residential developments, showcasing the company’s innovation.
Lead Architect Dolly Lin achieved this jewel-like design by using a non-traditional architectural envelope method, called double skin, which shapes the metal material into an argyle pattern, emulating a diamond necklace with the light. As Dolly would describe it, “The high-rise is as well-designed as a luxury treasure”.
