Fiesta Resort Guam will accelerate its refurbishment plans and rebrand as Crowne Plaza Resort Guam by May 2021.
InterContinental Hotels Group is set to continue its growth in Micronesia with the opening of Crowne Plaza Resort Guam in 2021.
The rebranded Fiesta Resort Guam will reopen with 322 fully renovated rooms, a Club Lounge, fully refurbished public areas, and two new swimming pools.
Fiesta Resort Guam General Manager Thomas Mayrhofer said the temporary closure of the property as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak had prompted an acceleration of the scheduled renovation work.

Asia Pacific Hotels Inc Executive Vice President Jennifer Tan Su said she looked forward to seeing travellers return to the region.
