Mitsuhiro Jimbo to the head of Property Management Japan CBRE
CBRE is pleased to announce the appointment of Mitsuhiro Jimbo to the head of Property Management Japan, effective September 1. In this role Mr. Jimbo will oversee the three service lines in the Property Management Division: Asset Management, Property Management, and Property Management Accounting (previously Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions).
Eiji Sakaguchi, President and CEO of CBRE’s business in Japan, says: “As a veteran of 20-plus years in corporate real estate and over 13 years leading various real estate businesses in Japan and North Asia, Mr. Jimbo is the right leader to accelerate our property management business. In his new role he will further strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional outcomes and offer more innovative, data-driven solutions that meet clients’ needs.
Mr. Jimbo graduated from the New York School of Interior Design and received an MBA from McGill University. After leading various project management and facility management teams in the US and Asia-Pacific, he was appointed the head of Microsoft Japan’s corporate real estate (CRE) division in 2005. He joined Dell in 2008 as the head of CRE North Asia where he developed and implemented CRE strategies, and supervised facility management and project management. In 2014 he was appointed Head of Global Corporate Real Estate for the LIXIL Group. He played an integral role in establishing a global CRE team that managed both domestic and overseas group companies, working on the optimization of CapEx / OpEx for international real estate portfolios. He joined CBRE in February 2019 and led business operations for the Property Management division (incumbent September 1).
