Alan Li brings a wealth of experience in the Chinese commercial real estate industry to the newly created role.
After joining CBRE in 2015, Mr Li has since served as Managing Director of Capital Markets for Greater China.
Under Alan’s leadership, CBRE’s Greater China Capital Markets team achieved significant business growth, expanded market share and has advised clients, both inbound and outbound, on numerous landmark capital markets transactions.
Based in Shanghai, Alan will report to Ben Duncan, President of North Asia CBRE.
“The future of our brand in China will increasingly rely on our ability to further localize our business and solution offering to clients. Alan is the natural choice to lead this next phase of our development across China and build on our commitment to delivering client outcomes through collaboration,” said Mr Duncan.

He holds an MBA from Fudan University.
CBRE has been active in China for 30 years and has played a leadership role in developing its commercial real estate market.
The appointment of Mr Li complements CBRE’s 30-year anniversary of operating in the China market.
