Mr Pank joined JLL in 2004 in Beijing and was the firm’s Head of Capital Markets, North China prior to moving to London.
He will now return to China's capital, bringing over 20 years of real estate investment experience and close relationships with Chinese institutions, investors, occupiers and property companies.
JLL Greater China CEO KK Fung said the new appointment came at a time when investors continued to reinforce their confidence in China real estate and would increasingly demand local expertise paired with global insights.
"Eric’s rich experience, strong network and an international background will provide a more diversified offering to our sophisticated clients in this rapidly maturing market,” he said.

"Under Eric’s leadership, we’re confident of further developing our China Capital Markets business and utilizing his experience in translating global capital flows into opportunities for our clients,” he said.
JLL has announced Jim Yip will assume the role of Head of Investment Sales for China and continue to lead the East China Capital Markets team, based in Shanghai.
