Built 3,000 meters above sea level this broadcasting station has been designed to combat extreme weather conditions.
Architecture firm Archium based in Korea designed a radio broadcasting station in Nepal.
The architects have used local rocks in construction enabling the structure to blend into its surroundings.
Archium successfully incorporated into the design the native surroundings, traditional construction styles and local traditions.
Climate was also a major consideration when designing the building. A 'gap' was created between the stone walls and glass walls to create an outdoor space protected by wind.
The site is subject to strong winds, rainy seasons, dry seasons, and and extreme daily temperature changes. Using local materials helped to ensure the building was protected against these elements.
The broadcasting station was built 3,000 metres above sea level and was built in 2013.
