The 100 year old Macalister Mansion has been beautifully restored and transformed into a modern hotel. 

The exclusive hotel houses just eight luxury guest rooms, 4 bespoke F&Bs, a dining room, den and living room. 

Each room has its own distinct feel and design, which is in keeping with its historical form. 

The Mansion was once the home to Penang’s British Governor Colonel Norman Macalister. References to and influences from the Governor Colonel are found throughout the hotels decorations, artwork and design. 

The luxury boutique hotel has been fetaured in Conde Nast Traveler’s prestigious Hot List of World’s Best New Hotels, 2013; Travel + Leisure 2013 Best New Hotels “It List”; and Destinasian’s 2013 Luxe List.
